The process begins by boiling raw A2 buffalo milk, setting it into curd, and then churning the curd using a wooden bilona (churner) to extract makkhan (butter). This makkhan is then slow-cooked on firewood or low flame, allowing the golden ghee to separate naturally. The result? A rich, thick, highly nourishing ghee that’s cooling, sattvic, and medicinal in nature—just the way Ayurveda intended.
